mid engine RWD crx 2
I got this idea from a thread i have been following from guy who has great fabricating skills, he built a mid engine rwd crx that is just plain bad ***, so to make a long story short it has been done before i'm just trying to one up him and i have got a long way to go before i can even get close. I will be posting pics soon just started on it a few days ago. these pics are before i took it apart
now these are just the begining, the donner front end came out of a 91 crx god rest its soul lol had to trim it down, still needs an *** load of triming though
yeah me to started installing it last summer then realized i wanted to put a motor in the back of the hatch so stopped the work on the kit and started on that.

I believe there are plenty more out there that are MUCH uglier than this. Back before I had my first car, I vowed to buy a rex and install a Black widow wide body. I still sort of want one but DA's are my favorite honda so thats where I focus my time and money.

well was going to finish trimming the donor front end today and cut the back out of the car and start the install but now got to go on business trip to st Louis going to be another week uuuuuuuuuugggggghhhhh.
Lol.
I am saying it would probably be better to not have makeshift tie rods holding your wheels in the rear straight, especially when you have rear hubs available from another stock car. (4wd wagon)
You do not want the rear wheels to toe in and out on there own at will, which is what I'd suspect is likely to happen with a steering based suspension in the rear.
