Default Valve replacement question

About to do some head work to my 97 accord so I can get it back on the road, been lookin at bisimoto 1mm oversize valves, question is what all is involved in installation? Just porting for disk on the end to fit? Or do I have to get new ecu so it can be tuned?

Do you have any other mods that would necessitate going with 1mm OS valves? Or are you just doing it because they are bigger?

Ether way you would require a tune to make proper use of over sized valves. A good cam intake manifold and exhaust would also be good upgrades to allow them to flow.

You will also have to have the valve seats in the head machined to make use of the 1mm OS valves.

Was just gonna go bigger because I gotta get new valves and figured upgrade now so I wouldn't have to later but think I might stick to standard and just get a whole new head later on

Yeah it is a generic EPS file that you can purchase from an image company..... I had access to it in my previous profession. So I took it and modified it to suit my taste.

I personally think that it looks much better with the stogie and four throttle bodies. I could be a bit biased though.

Oversized valves are a great investment with the proper supporting parts and tuning to go along with them. For the F22 non-vtec engines, Bisimoto only offers +2mm intake valves and +1mm exhaust valves, which do require oversized valve seats professional installation by a reputable machine shop. If you are in need of standard sized performance valves, shoot me a PM!

I feel that this is something that should be stated on your website. Maybe then people browsing/shopping would know that they aren't just going to drop into a stock head.

I will bring it up to the website IT. However, any instillation of new valves will always require machining and valve job for installation.
