MD: 1998 B20B Short Block Spun Rod Bearing
Name: Brody
Location: South of Baltimore
Number: 301-356-1702 text or call
Price: $300 very open to offers and I'd also be interested in trading for an intake manifold for a gsr head. Mainly looking for an itr style single runner intake. Ideally I want an edelbrock performer x, but I know chances are slim to none on that.
As the title indicates I have a B20 short block with a spun rod bearing for sale. There are also marks on top of three out of four pistons from where the intake valves touched. I can definitively say that in a stock bottom end b20 vtec, ITR camshafts are too big if the valve reliefs in the pistons are not fly cut
#3 piston has nicks on the top from a skunk2 throttle body screw that got sucked into the engine. What I'm trying to say is that for the most part the rotating assembly is trash unless you choose to keep the three out of four good rods and have the bad rod journal on the crank turned down and use oversize bearings on that journal. The block is also not stolen. It still has the original vin tag which can be searched. I'd be glad to text or email pictures of the block to anyone that is interested.
What it comes with:
-Block itself
-Crankshaft, pistons, rods, windage tray, oil pickup, oil pan, oil pump, and water pump.
It is a stock 84mm bore and the cylinder walls are in good shape, no nicks or anything of that nature. Perfect candidate to hone and throw a set of itr style pistons in with a set of gsr rods and a gsr crankshaft

Up, probably going to end up dissassembling and cleaning the block. Then get it honed and sell it as a bare block that is ready to rock.
