Missing transmission radiator hose

Missing transmission radiator hose
I've been having some issues with my lower radiator hose leaking, so today I replaced it with a new one.
While doing so I noticed the one that's suppose to lead to the transmission is missing. Not sure if it was ever there, or I lost it while driving.
#16 in the diagram. Would it be a bad idea to drive without it?

So I'm good to go? There is a hose sticking out of the top of the tranny that doesn't go to anything. . . That's why I thought mine fell off.
