I have a stock GSR, bone-stock..

I was wondering what I should get to make my car faster.. I have enough for either a pair of ITR cams or a header.

The thing is, if I buy the cams, I can only drop them in, thats it.. no tuning, no nothing.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..

header. Save more money and get cams later.

 

AEM CAI is the prime first bolt-on.

 

If you HAVE to buy one of those at this point, get the header. But you should really get an intake & exhaust before anything else.

 

Well.. I will get an intake, but thats for after winter. about the exhaust, I don't want to get one until I get a header.. so I can complete the I/H/E in order..

but the general question is: what will net me more horsepower?

1) dropped in untuned ITR cams
2) header

 

The ITR cams will make more power than the header, however I'd save up and do I/H/E first and then cams if you're looking for power. If it was me, I'd buy an ITR Rear Swaybar first before anything. It's at most $150 for everything needed and it will change the entire car.

BTW, if you do get a header, get a 2.5" collector.

 

that was the answer I was looking for.. I can't really afford to buy a 2.5" header, 2.5" cat, and exhaust.. I am looking for hidden horsepower really, with something that wouldn't wear down and break or anything.
