Obd2b B18b won't start up
I have an Integra cranks. Gets fuel, spark but won't start. Fuse for ignition coil blew last month and replaced it. Changed my battery 2days ago. Car was tranny swapped from auto to manual, still using automatic ecu. Please help. This the 3rd time it happened.
One of them must be missing, you need fuel, spark and compression.
If spark is good, fuel pressure is good and you have compression, then I would check timing, both valve timing and ign. timing, maybe you skipped a tooth on the timing belt.
Start by confirming valve timing is correct, then a compression test, then spark and fuel pressure. 94

How did you check for fuel? If you are just testing for pressurized fuel at the fuel rail, are the injectors opening? Noid lights plug in where the injector normally goes and blink when the signal triggers injector opening. You can get a cheap set at Harbor Freight.
Did it run before, or are you trying to start the car for the first time (new purchase)? If it ran before, what changes happened between it running and now? There might be some clues there.

Check the resistance between the primary "+" and "-" wires. There should be at least a couple of ohms (7-15 IIR). Check the resistance between the primary and coil tower. That should be pretty much an open circuit. If that's good...
Start at the coil and work your way back the harness. Look for wires near exhaust, or even laying across a shifter linkage (saw that once) that may have worn through. Look for carbon tracks on the side of the coil.
Hope this helps.

Ive changed my coil and my igniter and it fixed the problem and was starting up with no problem at all. I tried starting it this morning and it didnt wanna start again. same problem is happening again. i checked my main relay for any cracks on the solder points but relay was good. then i gave it a try a couplr of hours later then it fired up easily. could it be with the weather in the morning compare to afternoon?
