2001 Honda CR-v Ex. I have a factory stock automatic 2.0L engine. I'm thinking of adding either a Turbocharger or a Supercharger. And might try some other things to increase horse power. However did anyone do anything to there CR-v to increase the horse power already? I just want advice from someone who did it so I know the (if there is even any) cons of modifying for more power.

 

Increasing hp/tq in any car is pretty much the same...better flow + more fuel = more power. I'd read around and do a bit of researching before jumping head first. I've got a 12.1:1 compression B20 Vtec motor in mine and I'm building a 10:1 compression turbo motor for my buddy's 98 CRV. In order to make reliable power you first need to know what path you're gonna take, build it correctly and don't cut any corners, and tune, tune, tune!!
