Timing Belt Cover Removal
how do i remove the bottom half of the timing belt cover on a 5th gen? i am removing it because i need to replace the motor mount bracket that is attached to the engine
-Jack car
-Remove driver side wheel
-Lower splash shield
-Support engine
-Remove driver side engine mount
-Remove upper cover
-Remove crank pulley (have fun)
-Remove lower timing cover

-Remove driver side wheel

x2 and be easy on the crank pulley is probably gonna be on there good. Make sure you use an impact grade socket to avoid rounding it off.
It's a little tricky to get off, but you can drop it down and maneuver it around all the suspension components to get it out. From what I remember you drop the backside first and pull it out at an angle (this is, or course, after you have done everything listed above).
i've removed the TB cover. somehow the lower timing belt cover cracked and is in 2 pieces. is anyone selling a bottom TB cover?
