So I pulled my d16a6 out of my crx si and dropped it in my crx dx.got a dx harness converted and just wired everything up hopefully right but mayb not cus car cranks but dsnt start.wat can b the problem.?the engine was running fine and always turned on on the first crank.plz help

 

Check your dizzy wiring.

Spark at plugs?

Voltage to injectors?

CEL codes?

 

first doublecheck your wiring tp your distributor. Just for ***** n gigs spray some starting fluid into the throttle body. If your lucky enough it might start or puke a couple of times just enough to throw a code. that will help you pinpoint the issue a little better. If nothing happens with the starting fluid then you definately dont have spark...it would be a wiring issue.

 

have you double checked your Resistor box wiring??

 

do you have the ground wires at the thermostat housing connected?
