To while at lunch, I stopped at a red light, had it in first gear with the clutch pressed in...all of a sudden, the engine stalled or wanted to stall as if I didn't have the clutch pressed, still in gear but came to a stop...
Popped it out of gear and then had a very hard time getting it back into gear. All of a sudden, it popped into gear and no other problems..until I got back to work..and again the same think....
Someone mentioned I have a leak in the master or slave. I looked real quick and didn't see anything leaking, and it didn't look like I was low on fluid. But the o-ring at the top of my master cylinder (the cap where you add fluid) is pretty beat up.
Any ideas on what to check or what could be the issue?? The clutch petal doesn't feel soft or anything...

Thanks much guys...I will check that out today...
One questions....would I expect to have a "soft" clutch pedal if I am leaking?

Well, I found the master cylinder leaking when I looked under the steering wheel area on the floor board. so i went ahead and replaced the master cylinder...
But
Now I have to almost press the clutch to the floor to get it to disengage. I have adjusted the pedal/cylinder position to it's max, meaning the threads are about the come off the coupler.
Is there something else I am missing that I can adjust? Tonight when I get home, I am going to try and bleed the clutch system again at the slave cylinder..but besides that, any ideas?

Also when you bleed it I find it is best to pump it with your hand that way you can pump it quicker...Ok so that sounded bad, but I promise it works better that way. Sometimes bleeding a clutch can be a pita!
