So I got the swap to finally start today!! but now the problem is when i try to get it some gas it just bogs and dies on me.

Anyone know what is wrong? and what i need to do to fix it.

Start by giving some useful details about your swap.

Any CEL codes?

 

Well, without any more details than what you provided... I can only suggest swapping your TPS and MAP sensor plugs and try again. If no change, and you still cannot depress the gas pedal without the engine stalling, switch them back and bring us more details please.

 

I have swapped the TPS and the MAP sensor and i didn't want to turn on, my timing is good, I'm getting fuel, I have checked all my ground cables and they are good.
I don't know what else to check. i haven't checked the CEL yet, I'll get it check by this week.

 

Thats a pretty useful thing to check...will probably narrow it down for you

I pulled the b16 bswap from a 90 integra
My car didn't start when i was using the p28 with a jumper harness
it started when i use the stock y7 ecu
later today i'm going to try a type r ecu p73 to see if that would change anything.
I am using the stock harness from my single cam motor i modified the IACV to 3 wire to 2. That all i did to the harness.
I also think the dizzy is obd1 I'm not so sure about that. I have a conversion harness for that too. 2 plugs to 1 plug
