I just bought a 96 LX sedan and want to know if 13 inch steelies will fit and is it ok to run a 13 inch rim on that car? Reason being is that I have 4 13 inch wheels with tires on them that have 90% tread and I would like to use them if it would be ok to do so. Tried to search the topic but only found people asking if they would fit on a EX and mine is a LX without ABS. Thanks guys

Yes DX and LX uses the same brake system. EX you can fit minimum of 14" wheels.

 

But will it be safe ank ok to use the smaller 13's instead of the factory 14's?

Cool thanks man. I saw that thread you had up there but I just wanted something exactly for my car so I had no doubts. Actually the curb weight for a 96 sedan LX MT is lighter than a 1994 DX sedan MT and the 94 came from the factory with 13's so I believe I'll be ok

 

yep...perfectly fine. I have a set of snows that are 13".... no issues
