Default Quick release problem!! Help!

So I'm switching my stock steering wheel with a nrg hub and quick release. I'm on the last step and there's the black plastic piece for the air bag. I can't seem to get it off is there acres or something or just all clips? Any help is appreciated!

Are you trying to get the airbag or the steering wheel off?

Which part number?

If so its the clock spring and there is a hidden tab underneath the topside. It a pain to get off.

The tab is in a horrible spot, it cant be seen. We used a very small flat-head and looked at an old one to locate where the tab should be.

Its on the backside, facing the cluster. Try inserting a small screwdriver in the backside, to separate the Clock Spring from the hub.

Ill see if I cant get over to my car tonight and get a picture. To get to the clip there is a slot directly under where the SRS wires go into the unit. Slide a longer narrow flat head in there and wiggle it around.
