Default Do I need to use OEM bolts and nuts for the Exhaust and Intake Manifold?

I just want to double check because i went out to buy some nuts and bolts from home depot and ace, which i plan on using.

Car will be turbo'd and yeah, are the oem one higher grade lvl or some thing?

or is it that i'm just thinking too much..

i got some m8x1.25 i think... also got them in 40 mm hope it's not too long.

QUESTION #2

Since I am using a LS TB on my b16 intake mani, that means that using the stock ls cable would be fine correct??

As long as you got grade 8.8 or higher, you should be fine.

As for your TB and throttle cable, you haven't told us anything about your chassis, but the cable should match the chassis. If you have a 96-00, you need to get a 99-00 SI throttle cable.

Your going to want to use hardened bolts for the exhaust manifold. Anything softer will break after they heat up and cool off a couple of times and try and remove them. Even hardened breaks after a while when you remove them but they stand up to it much better

I currently have a LS swap in my Civic ek 96, so your telling me that to be able to work my ls TB onto my b16, i would need to get a b16 throttle cable?

I just found out that i'm running on the stock throttle cable(96 civic) on my current LS 99 swap

pretty sure my brother switched out all my wires and stuff for a ex because my car started out as non vtec, this was very very long ago
