s4c helical lsd ctr trans:

i have a 6 puck clutch sprung stock b series pressure plate and flywheel

my issue is when i am driving and from time to time i go into third and it will push it out... and other times it will go in smooth no issues.... and also in morning time when i start driving i go into third it will kick me out instantly... and at high rev i can go to scond or third but if i am at high rev and i baby it in will go in no issue...

hope i explained it right...

could it be stock pressure plate???
could it be bad syncros?

thats not from the clutch at all

your right that is going to be syncro's

time to put a full rebuild kit through it
" Bearings Syncro's Seals"
and you might want to think about an LS 5th gear while your in there
to lower your revs in top while cruising
Im about to do the same thing as my input bearing is going out

 

oh ok and how much does a kit like that go for cuz i had the syncros redone and there are all carbon coated

 

not sure how much it would cost you as Im in Australia

but its going to cost me $800 US for full kit bearings syncro's and seals

who did you syncros? how long ago? I would take it back to them and tell them your having issues with it and make them fix it.

 

Synchro spring, dog teeth, slider teeth, shift fork (contact or detent), SCA, SCHA, clutch/pressure plate, CMC, CSC, etc.

What all have you checked so far on it?

 

lol just the pressure plate shift linkage trans oil bushings thats it right now... havent pulled it aprt yet.. but i will

 

What kind of fluid you running?

 

lucas gear oil..

 

Get rid of it.

Supertech 10w-30, Torco MTF, or Torco RTF.

 

Have you changed the gear oil yet? How cold is it where you live?
