Default frozen locks with white lithium grease

Last 2 days been realy cold and in the morning my lovk mechanism is frozen i cant turn the key
The key cylinder works and turns to lovk but not unlock.
Everywhere i see people recommend white lithium grease.
I go through pass foor and cant even open the driver from the inside
Everything is greased up and cleaned when i took them out during painting
Is there better type of lubricant for door locks?

Ice forming in the lock cylinder over night? Use Wd40 to displace the water then what ever lubricant u wish. I'd only use the wd40, the other stuff would get messy.

wd40 washes out all the lubricant.
it has cleaning agents or solvents whateve its called.
i used wd40 once and it dried out all my locks in about 5-6 months they seized dry

now that i think about it. i didnt clean them on this car i did it on last del sol i had before it.
i think its the old grease freezing..
thanks for reply tho
