i have a 98 honda civic ex vtech and it just yesterday would bog at 1500 rpms got the code read and they said it has to do with my idle air control? any suggestions on how i can solve this?

 

this is rediculous. All you guys need to learn how to use google and the Honda-tech search for your issues. Not trying to be an ***, but this is litterally the 20 posting about idle issues in the past week. Go to google, and type in various words about your issue and read.

 

well i have done reserch. Im going to take the control out today and clean it to see if that works. But i have done reserch and don't have money to spend to take it to a machanic. I have also reserched it and also may be caused by the gasket between the iac and the throttle. Just seeing what your guys' input was on it.

 

Actually the honda-tech search bar is no where near accurate. I use it everyday and never find what i'm looking for unless i go to google and type in IACV Honda-tech, THEN i will find a thread or two. Instead of correcting someone that has 2 post just give him a link and get it over with. You complaining isn't going to make the thread go away,
