Default Nasty exhaust tone with new exhaust, HELP FIXING IT

Ok, i bought a 2.5" exhaust with headers and test pipe off ebay which i know a lot of you will talk crap but whatever. I was just wondering what makes the exhaust sounds like angry bees. I've heard other civics that are straight pipe that have a deep tone to them. My friend said to replace the muffler and the resonator but I wanted to ask my Honda guys what their opinions are on how to fix my exhaust tone. thanks guys

http://www.tunersports.com/yonaka-ca...003_p3775.html

Yonaka Catback
$240 + free shipping

Deepest sounding exhaust you will find (without costing you an arm and a leg...)
Great fitment
Great looks (polished SS)
NO drone.
NO rasp.
And im not running a cat (B16)
HIGHLY recommended!

The ONLY downside is the massive tip on the end lol. It's freaking HUGE haha

1st, take off the muffler. It's most likely one of those 'Turbo' or 'N1' type mufflers. Get a universal flowmaster or something of the sort. If that's not enough, replace the 'resonator' in the middle section with either just a section of straight pipe, or a 'glasspack' type muffler.

The only problem is all that will cost almost half of the Yonaka and in the end you'll just have a chopped up ebay catback. And it's still probably not gonna sound all that great...

Apex'i WS2 or the HKS Sport catback is my recommendation

Had a WS2 on my ITR powered EF hatch and it sounded great

HKS Sport: $500
Apexi WS2: $750
Yonaka (WS2 clone): $250

Choose wisely

its on the stock D15B2 but i plan on swapping in a JDM D15B. the header pipe diameter is i believe 1.5" each pipe then to 2 2" pipes that connect to the 2.5" exhaust

very weird, mine is so quiet i can hear the intake much louder than the exhaust note. might want to put a resonated test pipe in rather than just a straight pipe.
