High Beam Indicator Light-91 Accord
Yesterdays issue resolved (thanks MuffinMan) now onto the next problem.
Before I start tearing into the instrument cluster I thought I would check with you for suggestions on what might be causing the high beam indicator (blue light on dash) to malfunction.
The blue light has come on when turning the headlight on while on the high beam setting, but if you cycle to low beam and then back to high, no blue light. If you turn on the headlights while they are on the low beam setting and cycle to high you will not get any blue light. The only time I have seen the blue light is when you start the car and turn on the headlights while they are on the high beam setting.
Yes, the headlight do come on and cycle from low to high beam, just not the bule dashboard indicator light.
I did a search but can’t seem to find anything on this issue specifically so I’m not really expecting a simple answer/fix.
Thanks.

Perhaps this is going to be more complicated than I thought.
My kid comes home from work tonight, I happen to be standing in the driveway. He is flashing the headlights from low to high beam repeatedly; I’m thinking what the heck is going on. He says my high beam indicator is working and shows me the blue dash light and cycles it a few times. I’m thinking great problem solved...not so fast.
When he was driving home it was light out so no need for headlights, just daytime running lights (a Canadian thing) and they come on automatically. Halfway home he said the DRL indicator quit working so that is when he cycled on the headlights and switched between high beam and low beam and realized the blue high beam indicator light was working again.
To summarize:
If the DRL indicator is working then the high beam indicator is not and if the high beam indicator is working then the DRL indicator wont. Stumped? Me too...
