1992 Accord loss of power
So I have a 1992 Honda Accord LX automatic, with just about 250K on it. I have been told by a few dealer's that the really rough idle when in drive (say at a stop light) is "normal". But lately when I start the car and take off when it's cold it is giving me a feeling of loss of power. If I punch the throtle it will down shift and go, if I let off the throtle then it just seems to have no power at all. After the car warms up the problem goes away. My thought's are it needs trany fluid, nope pretty red fluid that was changed less then 10K ago. Second thought is and electrical problem. That's were I get lost. Any ideas???

Have you replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, pcv valve, air filter and checked all of your vacuum lines? I would do all of that. Another question. Is your car burning oil?

Btw just because you have 200+ views doesn't mean they're all from people who are part of this forum. Guests views are recorded too. At least on a forum i used to run years ago it worked that way
