Wimpy starts, sporadic power...
Ok, since I got my 1997 Civic EX a few months ago, it has always started weak. It sorta sputters to life instead of starting like a normal car.
Another problem, when I'm accelerating the car doesn't build power like it should. Yes I know it's a SOHC Honda, but the power doesn't gradually increase as the RPM climbs... The car will pull then feel bogged down sporadically as I accelerate.
One day it threw a CEL for random misfire in cylinders 1 and 2 when I started the car. I reset it and it hasn't came back on, but the car still starts weak.
Since I got the car I have replaced the dizzy cap and rotor, wires, plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, and I've checked all fluid levels.
ANY ideas would be appreciated!

you forgot fuel filter. also check your timing.
