High idle problem - 4K rpm - now gas pedal is hard to depress
Ok... so I get in my car to leave... car starts prefectly fine... I get to a red light.. come out of gear, rps shoot up like im revving it to about 4k... i tap the throttle incase its stuck... doesnt drop...
Put the car in 2nd.. its still sitting a bit high... got to 3rd.. drops and drives like normal.... Back to next light.... same thing exactly...
I did 3rd gear by accident. Stalled, and started and no more revving. The my gas pedal becomes hard to depress. It will not go down to the floor fully at all right now, even tried with the car off....
ANYONE has any idea what this random combination of 2 issues I just faced are?

Required (and missing) information: What car? Any modifications at all?
If your gas pedal isn't giving full range of motion, then either the cable is getting caught on something, the throttle rotor is seizing, or the throttle plate is messed up. Any of those three things could also explain the unexpected revving.
