Default my ride height is off by 4mm??

I have function and form type 1s on my 1997 civic coupe. the front measured to be the same (1mm 0ff) but the rear of my civic measured differently. it's about 4mm higher on the rear left than the rear right. i measured the car from the center of the wheel to the fender. and i was wondering if anybody thinks my ride height is off? does it sink from the front more or the back? i notice when i put my finger in the BACK tire, it feels like its a bit lower than the front. but when i look at it, the front looks lower than the back. but i do notice that the fenders in the rear has like this flab on it. i appreciate your input.

Its looks fine front to back. As long as the sides are level with each other; front left and right, rear left and right.

The best way to balance everything out is to find a shop that can do corner weight.

Are we being serious or are we trolling. 4mm? C'mon. They are ADJUSTABLE! Adjust them.

No I'm serious I always need my stuff to be perfect. Well is that a lot to worry about? 4mm? And for some reason when I try seeing how far apart the tire is from the fender with my finger. There is more of a gap at the front than the rear. But obviously the front looks lower. Is that just because the rear has that flap?

4mm? lol

If you want the height dead even all around, break out a measuring tape and start adjusting the coilovers.

You don't appear to be sitting in it, thus, it doesn't bloody matter.

i usually measure the car at the jacking points on a level ground, and if the the car is adjusted evenly, the front should have more of a fender gap than the rear. its probably designed like that for turning clearances

Just measure from the top of fender to the ground. The front should be a tad lower than the rear.

If you want it perfect find a shop that can do corner weight.

Just adjust it for the 4mm.....its really not hard, if you can measure the 4mm difference yourself, then you can adjust it yourself. Or just take it to a shop and tell them your problem and have the laugh at your when they graciously take your money

My whole driver's side is about 6mm higher so when I sit in the car it's perfect on each corner.

That's how little it matters. Unless you're doing autocross or road racing like I am then you should really not worry about it. I have to worry about alignment being in spec when my 175lb self is in the passenger seat so that my car behaves as it should left to right so that I learn the car properly.
