i know there are many of this threads, but I want to know if I can use F20B camshafts on h22a1, or if its better to buy h22a cams or BC Stage2 or SK2 S2?

i have used the BC stage 2 n/a cams with succes in my h23vtec. I alos have a set of BC satge 2 turbo cams that are awaiting to be put into a boosted h22.

For the price they are excellant, i have no issues with qulity and i have found that most people who bash BC product havnt used them, but rather are talking about second hand expereinces of others.

Either choice is a good, one, stock cams are great but limited for N/A.

 

Depends on your goals for the engine, and factors like displacement, compression ratio, and intake/ exhaust size you plan to use.

There are a bunch of threads comparing cams in the all-motor and hybrid sections.

If on Facebook, guys are always posting up cams for sale in the H-series group.

From what I have seen/ read Skunk2 cams for the H22 are great, and they have 6 cams to choose from, depending on engine specs. Personally for my needs in a cam I picked up the Pro1, and couldn't be happier with them.

 

Thanks, how can I find the H-Series group? Also, I've seen that H22A have more lift the BC Stage 2!? But I guess the BC have to be better!? Am I right? Or just suck$$g

 

can you post specificatiosn of said cams? lift and duration.


i woudl like to compare them to the specification sheet i have fro the BC ones. Just cuz im curious.
