Default Eg hatch wiring for 3rd brake light

This might sound quite ridiculous but i have no idea how to deal with it. I had a stock duckbill on the back of my hatch and removed it for a spoon duckbill. It fits like a dream. But the thing is the wires for the light on the other wing is still on the car and its in the way of shutting the back. I cant pull it all out other wise water could get in the holes that it was once in. and i cant find a good way to put it so it shuts. If you dealt with this before please tell me what would work best.

Thanks

So your new duckbill doesn't have a 3rd brake light? Since the factory wire is already exposed, snip the rubber grommet, secure expose wire/connection of the brake lights with electrical tape and stuff it back into the chassis hole. Cover with silicone or plug.
