Default Greddy turbo kit with out FMIC

Would it be ok if I run a Greddy Turbo kit on about 5 psi my 01 SS Lude without the intercooler for a while? But I know that if I don't have the front mount intercooler, its not very good to blow hot air into my engine. One more question, would the intercooler fit in the OEM front bumper?

Thanks

it'll be fine..... it'll just be a little slower probably with the hotter air..... it might actually help the spooling time.... =P

For low boost it would be alright, but you have to consider that anytime you compress air, the temperature of the air will increase because energy is added to it. The hotter the air, the less horsepower will be produced. The intercooler should fit the OEM bumper, but you might have to remove the front damper on the bumper. Also, definitely get a blow off valve if you get the Greddy kit so you won't have compressor surge.

GRedyy kits come at 7psi, the FMIC is an option for them, no FMIC will help spool, but it will loose it's efficientcy faster, so it's a tradeoff
