B18 swap in a 88 crx si-shift linkage question
Hi Honda tech!!.i have a b18 swap in my 1988 crx si..the question I want to ask is how do u connect the shift linkage to the tranny?..I'm new at this and I honestly don't know how to do it..all help will be much appreciated..thanks!!..
Do you have the B18 linkage? It will need to be cut down and welded to fit, or you'll need pre-made swap linkage from someone like Hasport.
It lines up with the tranny..I have it connected as we speak..but on the othe other end were the shifter is it won't go through the hole..any ideas why?..I looked it up and asked a couple friends and they said to get a b series crx shift linkage..so I did and it doesn't fit?..is that the right one?..do I have to put it in a certain way?
How doesnt it fit?
Does the shifter line up with the hole?
Will it not go in all the way?
Here is what the correct linkage looks like:
