Hi guys I am trying to finish installing my viper 5901 remote start for my 5spd 1998 civic HX. I have everything connected but the brake, tach, and e-brake wire. I know where they all are but they are in places that are hard to reach so I can't really strip (especially brake wire above pedal) and connect them.

Where do these wires lead to? It's hard to trace them back to wherever.

 

So many places to get these at. The hand brake and tach can be found behing the cluster. Fuse box. Or at themselves. The brake wire is easliy grabbed in the driver kick pannel in the harness going to the rear of the car.

 

Ok, I've attached them all.

EDIT3: OKAY...I can successfully enable MTS mode now. However when I try to RS even with the shift-**** icon on my 2way it still gives me 7 flashes but MTS mode is clearly enabled! I also tried to RS with clutch engaged but still gives me 7 flashes. So close...any ideas?

 

Your not putting remote start in "ready mode" properly....
Engine running and doors closed.
Step on brake.
Set hand brake.
Take foot off brake and do not touch again.
Within 15sec. press remote start button, park lights will flash 5 times.
Turn off the ign. engine should keep running.
Exit car close the door and hit arm button, doors will lock, [if wired] and engine will turn off.
Remote start is in ready mode. 94
