Default Keeps blowing radio fuse, backup fuse is ok

1996 Honda civic DX d16y7 engine...

So my radio wont work because the radio fuse under the dash keeps blowing out as soon as I turn on the ignition. I did a little searching around and decided to check the backup fuse under the hood. That one is intact. Also checked the fuse in the head unit. I checked over all of the wiring in the wiring harness and it looks to be ok.

Now I am led to believe it is the radio ground shorting out. I looked but cant find the location. Can anyone help?

Pull the deck and recheck the wiring job.

Yes its aftermarket. I pulled the deck and checked all of my butt connectors. I pulled the wires on each end and they are all snug. I have them all zip tied together so they are neat. I think its all good with the wires. I checked the ignition, ground, and 12V wire especially and they all look in pretty good shape.

I pulled out the deck and held it out and put in a new fuse to see if it was any of the wires touching the chassis, the fuse still blew. I tried following the ground to where it connects to the chassis but I couldnt find it.

Anyone know?

I checked the fuse slot with a voltmeter and its getting 12V. So the problem must be somewhere between the fuse box and the head unit, AKA the wire. (im guessing)

For my 96 civic, the red/yel wire is the wire between the head unit and fuse box, the problem is, I cant follow it because of the cluster of wires under the dash combined with the extremely tight spaces.

Anyone have any ideas how to find the short?
