Icon7 99 TL MAP sensor?

I have a 99 TL with 243k miles. I didn't drive it for like a month and when I got in, it wouldn't hold an idle. It kept jumping around on me. Is this the MAP sensor. I just threw a code (my dad has my reader so I can't read it yet). I have cleaned the EGR several times. Think the MAP needs cleaned as well? Thanks again.

I would first get those codes, then you will have a better idea of what your problem is.

But in the back of your mind the next steps you can take are replaceing the MAF and the IAC(idle air control valve).

You can try cleaning the IAC while you are waiting..

Well I got my code reader back. It is throwing a P0505 Idle Control Valve Malfunction. I'm going to see if I can bring up a diagram, but is this pretty easy to fix? Seems like it should be since it is right there on the side of the manifold

So I unplugged the sensor and it didn't throw the code again. Do I need to drive it around like that, or when it throws the other code (from unplugging) should it just throw that one too?
