I have a 97 Integra with a b18b Jdm motor. I have worked on a b18b1 before but the B18b has some differences from what I can tell..... My question is, Does anyone know what parts are interchangeable between the two? It does say B18B on block with no number after. It did come from japan. and it has about 57k on it. Im sure this question has been asked before... but to learn more about it I thought I would ask. Just hoping I can pull parts off of a B18b1 if something goes bad.

 

Everything is interchangeable, their just about the same.

 

I know one difference is the compression I believe its 9.2:1 in the b18b

That makes me think there is more.

B18b and b18b1 are same the same motor only difference is the jdm b18b has a higher compression 9.4cr and the usdm b18b1 is 9.2cr. So the jdm piston has a .2 higher compression
