Hey guys i just wanted to know if the F20B Engine with the F23a Manual Tranny was worse than the F23a Engine with the F23a Manual Tranny? I'm swapping very soon because the F23a i currently have is dead and i didn't really want to swap for the same engine. I've read a lot of things saying that i will not get the full potential of the engine and that my acceleration will be slow because of the long *** gears but is it worse than the stock F23a Engine with the F23a Transmission? Anyways i think you guys understood. (Honda Accord Coupe Ex 2001)

 

Sohc or dohc? Im guessing dohc, Ya you are going to not see much gains as the f23 trans kind of blows. You should look around and see if you can find a H23 trans as they can be had for cheaper. You car Im sure will move alittle better but nothing super awsome or as good as if you had a h22 or h23 trans.

 

Yea thats what i thought.. But i cant afford a new trans atm so idk i guess ill go back to my f23a lol and yes it was the DOHC f20.. Thanks
