why do people do this conversion, just out of curiosity, i don't know why

i did it because i need Alpha-N for ITBs and integrated wideband for forced induction.

I did it for future tuning. I heard it would run better and maybe more mpg, but both were not true. If you do a lot of mods, it's worth doing. Hardest part is getting a good map (chip).

i have a crx si, and put a d15b7 in it, using the original pm6 obd0 ecu. I failed emissions because it was not the right ecu for the engine. i did the obd0-obd1 conversion for that factor alone. For tuning turboedits works great for obd0, but there are more options for obd1.
