another 02 cel that wont go away!
1989 civic si hb
sohc zc converted to obd1
wires from 02 : 2 white (heater no polarity), grey- ground,1 black - signal
wires from ecu: (1 red-power, 1 black-ground)-heater, 1 blue- heater, 1 white-signal
I currently have it hooked up as :
02........l...ecu
white......red
white......blue
grey.......black
black.......white
All the wiring is correct as the link states: http://www.vaglinks.com/VAGLinks_Com...orInstall2.pdf.
The sensor that i have is off a 2001 civic but was told that it was universal for all four wire o2 sensors.
The problem comes in when i have my p06 plugged in it throws solid cel, but if i unplug the power (red) from o2 and reset the ecu code 41 comes back up.
If i plug in my p28 it always throws code 41 even if the wiring is correct or incorrect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and HAPPY NEW YEAR ****'S!

Prob bad o2 sensor or test wires for open circuits between engine harness all the way to ecu. Also inspect pins. Them piggy backs are nortorious for having bad connections. Inspect pins for not properly set or bent.
If all checks out I know code 41 sometimes points to a fuel problem so make sure that doesn't exist.

Ok the 02 is denso brand new, I made a harness myself all connections are soldered and the pins on the jumper are good. And what kind of fuel problems?
Thanks
