Default zc???

I was interested in dropping a zc into my 90 crx si, however I did not know there was more than 1 type of zc motor out there. According to Honda & Acura Performance Handbook, by Mike Ancas there are two types of zc out there. The D16a1 From the acura integra Ls models (1986-1989) which produces 113 hp. The second was th d16a8 or the d16a9 which produced 137 hp and was found in the 1988 - 1991 Civic Si and CRX Si in Japan. However he states that although the motors look identical the JDM version requires modifications to the mounts on a crx.
My questions are.
What modifications are required to fit either the d16a1 or the JDM d16a8 ZC into my crx?
How can one tell the difference between the d16a1 and the d16a8?
Thnks in advance.
p.s. if mounts are required to fit the JDM motor i'll probably stick to my d16a6 and spend the money required on mounts axles etc. towards prepping the bottom end for a turbo.

Default Re: zc??? (rexinfection)

you need the black vavle cover DOHC ZC from a JDM civic Si.
hondamotorsonline.com has them for 499+shipping...
it says (ZC) on the block so there cant be any confusion on if you have the right one
they will know what you wan.t
and it bolts right up just like you were changing back to stock.
but if turboing your a6 is an option ..screw a ZC lol. 7psi in a a6 will be a bit faster than a ZC
