i have a h22a swap in a 93 civic hatch cx and my driver wheel constantly wobbles and gets worse as i speed up. i have changed the axle, lower control arm, tie-rod and the hub assembly but it still wobbles. any advise??

 

Unbalanced/bent rim?

 

Did you change wheel bearing with the hub assembly?

 

Sounds like a bent rim or bad tire. Try swapping the wheels around.

 

tie rods or rotors?? wheels are highly possible too.

 

i had the wheels checked and they said they are fine, i did change the bearring also. only thing i havent tired is the lower ball joint and the rotor but i didnt figure those would make it that bad. it makes the dash sound like its going to rattle off the car at 40

 

Did you bother getting the car aligned?

 

same thing happened to me....ice build up making my tires off balance...im sure thats not ur problem but im saying it doesnt take much to set off ur balance...at 45 i thought my car was falling apart

 

it seems like its something putting the axle in a bind. i can jack it up and take the wheel off and turn the rotor by hand and it hits a hard spot that when you turn the rotor the whole spindle arm and strut moves up then comes back down

 

did this happen out of the blue or has any work been done to the car lately?

 

ok so i have changed out everything on the driver side wheel and for some reason my axle is in a bind unless i lift my coilover all the way up and then it vibrates a little but when i rip on it it gose back to vibrating like it was lowered again..... im at the end of my line with this one, there isnt a single thing i can think of anymore
