If I have never had the SRS Car Airbags deploy (that are now 18 years old in my EJ1).
How do you know if they will still work?

First generation air bags (those in the 92-95 Civics) are just as likely to kill you as they are to save you. I won't go into the full details, but short and long term, it's a 50/50 chance.

 

And they are more than likely NOT to go off when they should. I've been rear ended and smashed into the car in front of me (and the car in front of it and and the car in front of it) in one Civic and also run off the road in another and the airbag never deployed in either instance.

 

and on the other side of the spectrum, I had a buddy go thru some construction areas and hit a small bump in the road, and both airbags went off.. so wear your seatbelt

Pretty much. I slammed into a jeep doing 35-40. Totally fucked the front end of my car, and the air bags didn't go off...

My buddy slid on ice at about 15-20 and hit the car in front of him. Both air bags went off.

 

My tahle didnt come equipted with air bags i dont trust em id rather take my chances with the hard *** steering wheel lol. The sol has an ebay wheel but the sol im getting has an oem one with the air bag blown he crashed and it went off. Im just gonna get it and buy an air bag or just get a nardi or momo wheel

Ment tahoe but yea should i go n get the airbag off ebay or just go aftermarket. Ive already got a hub on my sol
