Help with HKS SSQ BOV?
I have a turbo charged b18b hatch boosting 9psi and it has been without any problems for 2 months. Today I was driving around and I floored it in second gear, all of a sudden I hear a big phssssss noise and I thought I blew a tire or something. I checked my tires and everything was fine. I got back into my car and started to excelerate on freeway and I noticed that the blow off valve was not sounding off anymore and I noticed that when I floored it I was only boosting about 4psi
(normal is 9psi). Later I discovered that the adjustment screw and nut to the BOV is missing!!!!
I tried placing another screw in its place but it is still not boosting anywhere past 5 psi and it sounds like it is leaking. I checked my intercooler piping and it all looks good. Can anyome recommend where I can get replacement parts? I tried HKS but I didn't see the parts there. Any help would be great.

I thought it was the wastegate at first but everything looks good. I am also running really rich too so I know it must be a vaccum leak of some sort possibly. I can feel it build up boost to about 4psi and then it looses it really quick. So it can build boost but does not hold it.
if it dosen't hold boost then it may be a leak in the piping.....but u say that the bolt that goes with the ssbov is missing then there is your problem. u need to replace it asap. I have never heard of the ssbov bolt falling out before, but u need 2 fix that. peas.
