Default Question on GSR oil pans...

Should I go OEM, Moroso 4 quart, or Moroso 5.5 quart?
Or any recommendations?

Which one should I get and why?

Thanks!

Then go ahead and replace it with an OEM one or fix the one thats on the car now.

There is no need to utilize a larger capacity unit unless your circumstances warrant it, which I doubt.

Morosos are notorious for leaking. So I've heard.

i think people dont know how to install oil pan gaskets.

OP
where is leaking from? you do know there is a gasket there that can be replaced, i would change that first before changing the pan out

Yea I changed the gasket once already and it's still leaking, it's also leaking from the drain plug as well. I think I just need a new one really. It's a PITA to change too cause you have to take the headers off, arghh.. Anyone know the best place to buy the OEM one?

Also here's my set up on my engine:

Type R cams, Pistons...Skunk intake, EG6 Oem intake. DC CARB headers, P73 ECU, full exhaust. I'm losing a qt of oil every 500 miles. I just had the engine rebuilt.

I have the Moroso 5.5Q with an OEM gasket has not leaked in 7+ years, I agree most people do not know how to properly install an oil pan. 94

How much would it cost just to have a shop do it?
