I am looking to buy a 2000 Civic. I see many for sale online with the driver side roof antenna, just after the windshield. I have a 2000 civic 4 door LX & it dose NOT have one. It has it in the rear window with/above defroster.
Can anyone tell me if some 2000 Civic models had the roof antenna, or are they older civics???

B4 2000 yes but most went to the window one i had one in my ex

 

my 99 hatch has an antennae, my wifes 00 sedan doesnt have one.

 

So you want to buy another 2000 civic because of an antenna?

 

99-00 sedans have the antenna in the glass. coupes and hatches have the antenna on the pillar/roof.

 

My 00 EX has it just above to a-pillar.

 

@ weekend boost...no, not looking to buy because of an antenna...just want to make sure I get a 2000 and not a 99 made to look like a 2000, I would figure this out during the car fax but don't want to waste a lot of time research the buy and looking at the wrong cars.
