Default 506T Audio Sensor Not triggering alarm?

It flashes its red led every time the windows are hit but no alarm, I even hit the window repeatedly with my keys and still not triggering the alarm. I have put the sensitivity to the highest already and still not triggering. I even locked myself in my civic and shook my keys in front of the remote and did not trigger it, just red LED flashing. What is wrong with this? I have it hooked up to a Viper 5900 using the included harness where you plug the shock sensor also. I know its working because of the red LED but it is not triggering the alarm. Please help. Thanks!

Were did you buy the alarm and sensor? If you ground the trigger input. Does the alarm go off?

Faulty sensor. Have you tested the sensor output and see if it throws out a ground signal.

ok checked ground using a multimeter on the mux of the sensor and chassis and every time I made a sound it detected continuity

Plug the glass sensor into Mux port without the shock sensor, does it trigger the alarm?

If not use a jumper lead to supply a ground to the blue lead of the glass sensor, with blue lead plugged into alarm. 94

Sorry for the late reply, was on vacation. But I tried it today and No it does not trigger the alarm. Where do I find the jumper lead? Thanks!

If the 506T does not trigger the alarm when installed by itself, it is a good bet the sensor is bad. 94
