Icon2 94 EG coupe - OIL LEAK!

Hey guys... I have a 94 EG coupe... And I'm having a nasty oil leak from my engine... I'm having a hard time tryin to find the leak... All I know that its coming from the bottom of the engine/onto my tranny... i know its not that much information about it... but I'm thinking maybe it could be from a bad oil pump? at times while idling at a stop light my oil light will flash on and off depending on how long I drove... could use some help... Thanks.

Oh and would that mean I have a bad oil pump because the light keeps flickering?

It also could be you are low on oil too.
Get out the engine degreaser and clean it up, then start your search.
Find the leak or you'll be replacing an engine.

Should be low on oil if the light is blinking. And what do you mean it is leaking from the bottom onto the tranny? Is it leaking from lets say the dizzy then leaking to the bottom of the tranny? Or leaking from the oil pan gasket over to the tranny?

I look under the dizzy, around the tranny, and at the oil pan gasket to be sure.It could be a number of places really.

Clean up all the oil from under the car.I haven't used this product in a while so the name of the product is escaping me. It's an oil additive that dyes the oil in the motor. Do a search on google for it

Start the car, get a black light and find where it's coming from.

The car doesnt have low oil tho, it had almost 4 quarts in it.

Update: The oil does leak onto the dizzy, and I've replaced the gasket on it and it still continues to leak to the bottom of the dizzy. I just drainned the oil and removed the valve cover to look at the gasket there... The gasket looks in a rough condition so I'm gonna replace it and see how that goes... I'll write back to see the results...

I will post a pic on here soon. So I replaced the valve cover gasket and I think the leak slowed down a bit... but I still have some dripping off from the bottom of the dizzy... I have had it sitting for a few hours and still slowly dripping from dizzy... a few months back I replaced my top and lower gaskets in my vtec solenoid because it used to leak bad from there but that leak actually stopped and its on tight... Any thoughts?

the dizzy has 2 seals... inner shaft seal and the o-ring seal... whichever you replaced already, do the other.

Im having a hard time uploading the pics onto this site... But The leak is coming from; from what it looks like the bottom left side of the block to the side where the dizzy would be.... Would all I have to do is replace the head gasket to fix the leak?? I'm not really sure where to go at this point... btw the leak that was coming from the dizzy stopped.
