so still got the car cutting out at high rpm sumtimes car barleys wants to idle and at about 5 grand the lights get brighter alt belt is tight so i decided to unplug it the green plug and it idles fine and that battery light dont come on in the dash?

 

sounds rediculous, but check your grounds...ive seen this happen before and it turned out to be bad trans ground

 

^ Agreed. I have seen this same issue with a bad ground.
