b16a loss of power/bogs down 1k-3krpm
I have a 1996 Honda Civic Dx with a B16A Engine and a P30 Ecu.
I have had this problem for about 6 plus months now. The problem is after starting the car and it warming up when we drive the car seems to lose power or in other words bog down like kind of choke or have some sort of problem some where in the fuel, air, spark process. This problem only occurs during 1100 Rpm and 3100 Rpm. The car used to run perfect, very strong very fun. Now it just is a frustrating experience, only after 3k Rpm is there the normal power upon acceleration. My girlfriend and I share the car and when she drives the problem is not noticed as much because she tries to be very easy with accelerating. When I drive though I can't help but to get frustrated if I depress the accelerator more than just a little my problem occurs, I try to drive it easy but i just want the car back to normal. Oh yeah and at one point we tried tirelessly to fix this issue and I switched the fuel filter out and put injector cleaner in. No luck other than the usual oil and oil filter change nothing has been done. I would like to get my hands on a Obd2 reader and see what that shows, we'll see. I do have money at this time and would like to see if any one could offer some good knowledge about this. Thank you. Also i have read quite a bit about others problems exactly like mine and similar and I always read up until the thread ends with no written solution or the thread is still current. :\

I will log on and check this out everyday this week. Just giving a heads up so if any one has any suggestions or some words they wanna drop dont hesitate. I am hoping to catch the eye of someone who has had a problem like this and found a solution.
