Default P28 Basemap/tune

Hey guys, ive got an 00 civic ex with p28 ecu and obd2b to obd1 conversion harness. The ecu ive got SUPPOSEDLY has a basemap on it for my setup but im idle's terrible and almost stalls out. Currently ive dsm 450s with resistors wired in, stock fuel pump, and a greddy 15g Kit and a stock map sensor on my d16y8. Im looking to run 10 psi or whatever the stock map sensor maxes out at.

Esentially im looking for a good basemap to start out with that can use some fine tuning but wont flood my oil pan with gas under normal non boosted conditions... Anyone have any suggestions on where i can snag one? I do have an eprom programmer as well and can read the contents of my current chip and or burn others.

Help a honda tuning newb out plz..

are you looking to tune this yourself?

Look into purchasing Neptune. Its a user friendly system and burning chips is not necessary with it.

Well yes a little bit.

Ive got crome right now (free version) and im just trying it out and getting used to it. I REALLY dont plan to push the car past maybe 11 psi on the stock map sensor. Im only shooting for 220-230ish tops.

Currently ive got all the turbo stuff off the car and just the 450 injectors and obd1 ecu installed to make sure i can get it moving around without and obd2 ecu. So far ive been able to flash a tune that someone else was running on the ecu and drive around with the 450s without issues at all. Only issue i ran into was the idle fluctuated quite a bit when stopped (idle hunt)

Im guessing the idle problem has to do with timing quite a bit seeing as how the original obd2b ecu and timing is set up for 12 degrees base i think something is off here...

I flashed another tune that had 450s and corrected timing and the idle was perfect.. so i guess what im looking for is a good N/A basemap d16y8 tune for a p28 ecu that has the corrected timing. Im trying to get something good to start from so i can recalibrate it for 450s and then start adding boost.

This is the base tune that i read back in an eprom programmer that was given to me with the p28 ecu when i bought it originally. Tune opens in crome and makes the car run like ****.

This is just the low cam fuel and timing and the options

supposedly map is scaled for 450s, which does show in the fuel correction, but the car runs like total crap at idle and smells super rich.

there should be a "main fuel" manual entry somewhere in the parameters. Can you post that shot?

So i guess what i need is to find a basemap i guess for the p28 and a d16y8 with the CORRECT timing...

If i have a bone stock d16y8 longblock and p28 ecu, then i guess i would set the timing to 16 degrees and then start my map at 16 degrees in crome and all would be in sync ?

you have to correct those boxes with the 1.000s and the offset.
