Civic EJ9 Injection or other problem
Hi ! I`m new here, it`s my first topic and first post also.
I have a `97 Honda Civic EJ9, 1.4i, 75 hp.
Recently, after the weather begin to be cold (5 degrees C) my car started to stop while running. After it stops it starts very hard and if i try to rev it stops again. It does this thing when the engine is cold (after about 20 minutes on idle).
Even if i rev it on 7k rpm it will stop by herself.
It even stopped when i was cruising at 130 km/h.
I`ve been to a local Honda Service and they said that lambda is faulty and also the air sensor ( the one which comes on the air filter case)
I`ve changed them and i have the same issue.
I`ve been to another guy, which is good in Honda`s in this area and he said that the fuel pump relay is the one faulty so i`ve changed it to.
After this my car started to run more smoothly as the relay we changed it was not the original of the car.
In this morning i started the car and i had the same issue.
After doing this in the morning i don`t have any problems with it for the rest of the day, only if the car doesn`t for a few hours when it starts doing this again
I`ve already changed 2 lambda (NTK and now i have Bosch), i`ve got new spark plugs wires of Tesla, NGK spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, cleaned the intake manifold ... without any results.
I`m blocked at this point, i don`t know what to do. I`ve been to alot of services here, maybe they are not good at this type of cars.
You have a video bellow, i`ve recorded in this morning.
Hope you can help me out guys.
I`m sorry if i write a weird english or i have alot of errors, i`m not advanced.
Waiting for your replies.
Thank you !

It's hard to tell but does it die almost instantly when you release the key?
It could be the ignition switch.
It could also be a bad fuel pump but if that was the case I'd expect it to stumble a little and then die.
Does it only do this on cold starts? If the car was in a nice warm garage all night would it fire up normally?
On a side note, it's not a good idea to rev the engine so much when its cold. You'll flood the cylinders with gas and rinse away all the oil. Also, the oil is cold so its not protecting the parts like it does when its warm. I get what you were trying to do, just food for thought.

No it doesn`t die when i realease the key. It dies because i`m trying to rev it up.
If i let it on idle it will work for 10-20 seconds and then stop, i don`t think it`s the ignition switch.
It only does this when it`s cold. It starts good, it works good and after 15 minutes it is stopping and starts to interrupt like you see on the video.
Believe me sir, i don`t what to do anymore. With the money i spent already, driving in other city to other workshops or Honda representative, i`ve could already bought another engine.

Distributor!! Moisture and igniter can b defective. Do not waste time on USC because even if that's bad you'll still be able to rev up with gas applied. Check for spark when that occur. If no apart check to see if coils being grounded,if not then check ignite and I that checks out see if igniter is being signaled by ecu. Before all that spray starting fluid to eliminate if its a fuel problem. Good luck
