Default antifreeze/coolant

My Thermostat has decided to packup so I am about to change it. does anybody know what coolant is used in a 1998 accord vtec 2.0 litre. I know what goes in all Toyota's as I have worked for a toyota garage for 16 years

You can safely buy the new 'long lasting' blue coolant from Honda and use that. Your car previously had the green stuff (older Honda).

Just flush some distilled water through the system until it comes out clear and you'll be good to go. I did the conversion on my S2000 without any issues.
