Default Axles of lowered eg too stressed -- raising motor by mounts possible?

I lowered my eg hatch and my axles are at too much of an angle..... I'm eating through them. I heard of place racing mounts (a friend told me) old school mounts that raise the motor.. I am just looking for any type of mount that can lift my motor about an inch or so. Had anyone found anything on this? I looked on google and it just kept pulling up VWs and BMWs.... any help will be appreciated thanks guys

Raise the car. There's a reason you can't find anything.

Never had a problem with a car being too low and having axle issues. Stock motor, nothing is bent? If yes, raise the car up a little.

How bout srock height? But you can fab up mounts to be higher but i wouldnt reccomend it so just raise it back up...

You could space the rear mount up easily enough and use longer bolts, the passenger's side transmission mount would probably be easy enough to fab up. However the driver's side mount will probably give you some grief. The only way I could see doing it would be to remove the studs from the cast iron mount bolted from the block, put the rubber mount underneath and use bolts from the bottom.

All that said, if it's a B-series it's going to hit the hood when you're done, if it's a D-series you might get away with it. The better option is raise the car, or if you really want it that low, get some custom axles that are a bit shorter so there isn't so much stress on them.

Also, Place Racing has been out of business for a long time (the better part of a decade if I recall correctly) They might have made some weird mounts, but good luck finding them now.

What motor mounts do you have now?
Are the stock or aftermarket?
What engine are you running?
If it's a B series are you running torque mounts?
There is a myth that if you have Hasport or any other kinds of aftermarket mounts that you can remove the torque mounts. Its a myth
Dont believe me....... call Hasport.
No torque mounts and your extreme low ride height can be exactly why you are blowing through axels.
Id vote to raise the car.

Raise the car. Otherwise, what kind of axles are you using? How low are you? I heard that Autozone axles at least used to be junk. And you can lower your car at least a couple inches safely.
