HI,
i got my civic LX 2004 From 3 months, after a small car accident which cause one of my lights to be broken, when I drived the car to the garage to fix it, the SRS light was working normal!.
After I got the car my SRC light Always Stay on the man in the garage told me that he removed the Fuse panel to fix the car then install it!.
Any body has an idea what is going on why my SRS light stay on!

It comes on when the airbags are deployed, and your mechanic should have cleared it when he fixed your car.

 

I don't really understand why he would have removed your fuse panel to install a new headlight/taillight. That doesn't make any sense. You should get the codes checked to see what they are at least. One of your impact sensors could have been hit or triggered but no deployment of the airbags happened. He could have pinched a wire when reinstalling the fuse panel or something. It could be many different things. Best thing would be to take it to the shop where you go it fixed and get them to diagnose it for free as they caused the problem while fixing your vehicle. Don't let shops push you around about things like that.

my car fuse panel is near the battry ! is it the same process!

i dont know really what happen why they remove the fuse panel ! when i asked about it they said they dont know why the SRS Light goes on!

i take it to another shop so see what is the error code!
