Default Fans not working 95 Prelude se

My radiator and ac fan dont work on there own on my 95 prelude se. When I jump the thermostat housing connector with paperclip they both kick right on. When I turn the ac on in car, it doesnt come on. I tried swapping engine compartment cooling fan relay and fuse. Since the ac doesnt kick on either would this be the fan timing box near the ecu? Or am I missing something else to check first.

Thanks

Have you checked the CTS? it may not be sending proper info if any at all to the computer and therefore not turning on the fans. usually when you kick on your a/c both fans should run. just something you might check

whats the cts? Im wondering if the fan system connected connected to the main relay at all? The main relay seems to be going bad.

Coolant temp sensor duh. Yeah thats what I was thinking originally but since it doesnt come on with ac switch it seems that wouldn't be it. Unless if that sensor is bad and it completes the circuit maybe.

yeah i'd check your coolant temp sensor. if you can jump it and it kicks on, odds are that sensors toast.

The cts controls the fan. It send info to pcm which turns on the fan. Just do a simple ohms test on cts when its cold and then again when its warm.there should be a difference and I well have to find specs of what its supposed to be. If u test the CT and its reading 0 ohms then chances good that its bad. Let me knowwhat your cure ends up being
